Privacy Policy for RG - DnD Game Master

Ryan Gzyl operates RG - DnD Game Master, a custom GPT that connects to a campaign-management backend for tabletop roleplaying games.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how users can request deletion.

1. Information We Collect

When you use this GPT’s connected actions, we may collect and process:

• Login identity information, such as your email address and identity provider subject ID.
• Campaign data you create or edit, including campaign names, settings, character sheets, party rosters, notes, combat state, scene state, saved game state, and related gameplay records.
• Action request and response data needed to operate the service, debug errors, maintain state, and provide campaign continuity.
• Technical metadata such as timestamps, internal owner IDs, request status, and service logs.

We do not intentionally collect payment information, government identification numbers, or sensitive personal information unless you choose to include such information in your campaign content.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information to:

• Authenticate users.
• Create and maintain separate user accounts.
• Store, retrieve, and update campaign data.
• Provide game continuity across sessions.
• Debug, secure, and improve the backend service.
• Prevent unauthorized access or misuse.

3. Account and Campaign Separation

Each authenticated user is assigned an internal owner ID. Campaign records are associated with that owner ID so users can access their own campaigns. Users should not be able to access another user’s campaigns unless a sharing feature is intentionally added in the future.

4. OAuth and Authentication

This GPT may use OAuth or a third-party identity provider such as Google to authenticate users. Authentication providers may process your login information according to their own privacy policies.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell user data.

We may share or process data only as needed to operate the service, including through infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare, OpenAI/ChatGPT, and any authentication provider used for login.

When you use this GPT inside ChatGPT, your use of ChatGPT is also governed by OpenAI’s terms and privacy policies.

6. Data Storage and Security

Campaign and account data is stored using backend infrastructure operated by Ryan Gzyl, currently using Cloudflare services. We use reasonable technical measures to separate users and protect stored data, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. User Control and Deletion

You may request deletion of your account data and campaign records by contacting:

Please include the email address used to log in so we can identify the correct account.

8. Children

This service is not intended for children under 13. Users should not provide personal information about children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new effective date.
